3./ I am working from home for a great woman
4./ I love Everly more then ever.
Gosh... where do you begin when you have left things this long?
I guess I will start with getting pregnant. Last summer we started TTC. I had mixed feelings about it because I just love Everly so much and I felt anxious about having to split my time between two. At the same time I have always known I wanted two children, and 3 years is basically the closest or furtherest I would be willing to have them. This way they are close enough to play together etc... but far enough apart things might be a bit easier when "M" arrives.
So we went to Florida and while we were there I got some weird positives. Then my period was several days late, but the positives weren't getting darker. Something didn't feel right, and sure enough my period arrived. It was heavier and more painful then any one I had had before. Although there was no way to confirm it I am pretty sure I had an early miscarriage. Of course I was bummed... but I have always been aware that these things can happen and since it was so incredibly early on I didn't worry.
Lucky for me I got pregnant that second month (just like with Everly). Before I even got my positive I felt off, and within a few weeks I had the most horrible morning sickness. I threw up A LOT!! At first I did all the natural things I could (like acupuncture etc.), then I got the flu and it was so bad I ended up on diclectin, which was a miracle. It really helped. So I likely had H1N1 which lasted about 2 horrible horrible weeks. It was so hard to deal with Everly, a pregnancy and the flu. I was better for a week and then I got sick again. In total I was sick 4 times from September to December, with very little "well" time in between. It was just horrible!!
Just when I thought I was in the clear, Everly spent and entire night throwing up. I couldn't sleep at all. The next morning I had to get to teaching for parents day. I felt quesy but figured it was still a bit of morning sickness. As I was driving I felt more and more pukey. I pulled into the parking lot and couldn't get the door to the car opened fast enough and threw up all over myself and the car... OMG it was horrible. I didn't know what to do, as I had to teach in about 10 mins. Luckily one of the teachers lives across the street so I walked over there and asked her if I could clean up and if she could teach for me. My mom came with stuff to clean my car. I cleaned it out and drove home. Luckily that was the last time I was sick. Since January I have felt great.
Oh I also forgot to mention that between August and December Everly was getting her molars and would wake up SCREAMING each night. Often I was up for 2 hours with her calming her down. Jeff and I were so exhausted and grumpy all fall. Luckily in January it started to resolve, and after a few visits to the chiro she is now sleeping well again (with me and still nursing).
Well I guess I will update more later. I have work to do.
